Train the trainers meeting on the treatment demand indicator (TDI)

This meeting, co-organised by the EMCDDA and the national authorities, gathered in Sarajevo all partners from the state level, the entities and some local organisations. There were about 30 participants, representatives of the Ministries of Health, public health institutes, treatment centres and therapeutic communities. The agenda was devoted to the implementation of the EMCDDA TDI v3 protocol with the aim at improving the treatment monitoring system in the country. The training included discussion on the case definitions and all the variables included in the TDI protocol and served to share best practices on data collection and treatment data analysis. The participants agreed to convene more frequent meetings on this topic to follow up on the implementation of the indicator.
